Frequently Asked Questions

Running a salon and spa means we hear the same questions pretty regularly. And honestly, that's fine — we'd rather you ask than wonder. Below are the things folks usually want to know about us. Can't find what you're looking for? Just reach out.

We offer three tiers. Basic cuts run 45 minutes and include a wash and style. Our signature service (65 minutes) adds a consultation and custom product recommendation. Premium cuts? That's 90 minutes with a precision fade or color correction included. Price varies depending on hair length and complexity. First-timers often go signature because it gives us time to really understand what you want.

Absolutely. We do single-process color (about 2.5 hours), balayage, highlights, and root touch-ups. Full color corrections take longer — sometimes 3 to 4 hours depending on what we're fixing. Toners and gloss treatments are quicker, usually under an hour. During your first appointment, we'll talk through timing and any processing concerns with your specific hair type.

Arrive 10 minutes early so we can grab your info and chat about what you're hoping for. Your therapist will ask about any injuries, pressure preferences, and areas of tension. Most massages run 50 or 80 minutes. We'll dim the lights, get you settled under warm blankets, and focus on loosening whatever's tight. Afterward? You'll probably feel a little floaty. That's normal.

Ideally, 2 to 3 weeks if you want a specific stylist. That said, we almost always have openings within a few days. Color services and spa treatments need a bit more lead time because they're longer. If you're flexible with your schedule and don't have a preference, we can often squeeze you in same-week. Just call us at +1 (525) 757-6373 and we'll make it work.

We ask for 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Less than 24 hours? You'll be charged 50% of your service fee. No-shows are charged in full. Look, life happens — appointments get mixed up, stuff comes up. But this policy helps us protect our artists' time and other clients' availability. If there's an emergency, give us a call rather than just ghosting.

We use professional-grade products that work. Some are sulfate-free or paraben-free, and we carry organic options for clients who prefer them. We're honest though — not everything is 100% natural, and sometimes the chemistry matters for results. Ask your stylist about what we're using on your hair. They can explain the ingredients and swap products if you have sensitivities.

Cards work great. We take Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We're also set up for Venmo and Apple Pay if you prefer that. Cash is fine too. Gratuity? You can add it right on the card terminal, or hand it over directly. Deposits for color services help us block off time and are 25% of the estimated cost.

We're based at 81 Broadway in Portland, and that's where we operate. We don't do mobile services or travel to clients. That said, if you're coming from outside the area, we're easy to find and there's decent parking nearby. Some clients drive 30-40 minutes to see specific stylists, so it's worth it to them. We're open Tuesday through Saturday.
